The Kayak i was waiting for!

As soon as I saw the Alnes I thought, “This is the kayak I was looking for!” A shorter sea kayak with a good rocker on the bow and the stern, to be more maneuverable when surfing but still with enough length for day trips. Surfing the Alnes is amazing. Being able to run the waves with a much closer angle thanks to the rocker in both ends and its sharp edges, and turn the kayak in steeper waves than a sea kayak, is a game changer. It can surf smaller waves easily, where a surfboard or a surfkayak would need more power, and it’s great in bigger waves where a longer sea kayak only has the option of a straight line or slow big turns. A comfortable sea kayak that not only surfs well but keeping it in a straight line when paddling is easy if you are a bit used to short boats. If not, just having the skeg half down will help you enough!
